| About Me I have always loved to do artistic things, and discovering the enticing world of beads, rocks and gems, with their myriad shapes, colors, and textures, gave me a new creative outlet.
My jewelry business grew from a hobby. I was lured by the beauty of beads, and how the color, shape, and texture of beads lend them to endless possibilities of design. I am always thinking about new ways to put beads together so that each bead is enhanced by those around it, and with the intention that each piece of jewelry is a delight to look at and wear.
How did I get started? Making jewelry was the last thing I ever expected to do! With a Bachelors in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas, I have been involved in the Arts in one way or another most of my life. I have lived the last 10 years in Los Angeles, where I have acted, sang, danced, directed, taught, wrote, and even worked behind the scenes for network television. Since recently becoming a new mom of a darling little boy, my passions began to shift toward the more visual arts. About a year after my son was born, I was shockingly laid off from my job. It was obvious to me that this occurence of events was a true blessing in disguise. I immediatly fell in love with the stay-at-home mom lifestyle, and the freedom I had to give my full attention to my son. I soon began to look for my next creative outlet...something I could do from home.
